In an effort to live up to the Quran's standards of justness, and authenticy of rumor, this page is dedicated to all of the hadeeths that have been claimed as mutawaatir based on their chains of narration (and nothing more). It should be understood that according to the Quran any of our last prophet`s words are redundant to the Quran. All these hadeeth may do is give us a historical perspective to the environment and times of our last prophet. Also many of these hadeeth are subject to debate about whether they are really mutawatir or not. They are not explanations of the Quran. Nor are they to add or take away from the Quran. So far, the below are the results of this ongoing search:
The Messenger of Allah - may Allah bestow peace and benedictions upon him and his Progeny - said: "Verily, I am leaving behind two precious things (thaqalayn) among you: the Book of God and my kindred (`itrah), my household (Ahl alBayt), for indeed, the two will never separate until they come back to me by the Pond.
"Whoever invents a lie and attributes it to me intentionally, let him prepare his seat in the Fire."
"For whomever I am his mawla, 'Ali is his mawla."
"al-Mughira bin Shu’bah radiallaahu 'anhu said that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam made wudu. Al-Mughira said, “I moved to remove his khuffs (leather socks) and he said, ‘Leave them, for indeed my feet were in a state of purity when I wore them.’ So he wiped over them.”.
"He would put his hands firmly on his knees." (This is most likely a reference to prayer but the whole hadeeth is not available. So this could be a reference to something else)
"He used to stand bare-footed sometimes and wearing shoes sometimes." [Abu Dawood & Ibn Maajah" (it is assumed that this hadeeth is about prayer but this may not be necessarily the case).
"And the saying of the poet goes:
From those that are mutawaatir is the hadeeth
the one who lies.. ,
and the one who builds a house for Allaah's sake and hopes for reward,
and the Sight, the Intercession and the Pond,
and the wiping over the socks. "
Note from the page's creator: Who the above-mentioned poet is, we don't know. And I have not been able to locate 2 out of 3 of these hadeeth.
